Capel Manor

First day on the job was a visit to Capel Manor College, which is a horticulture college teaching 3500 students. The campus is situated on 34 acres of land which was originally the estate of Sir William Capel Back in the 14th centurary. In 1986 Capel Manor officially became a college offering students subjects in horticulture, animal care, floristry and conservation.
The gardens are a series of small gardens that have been designed by students, gardens sponsored by companies and gardens exhibited at the Chelsea Garden and Flower Show. There is also the gardens that replicate the old estate, a maze, 17th centurary walled garden, Japanese gardens and a replica of the Australian Gardens in Cranbourne.

Have a browse on their website by clicking on their link at the top of the page. I will post some photos when I work out how to.
Keep posted.

As promised I have now added some photos.
