Clear Water Recycling System

Day 3 on the road for a 3 hour drive to Wiltshire where we were meeting with Andrew one of the Directors of Clear Water (water recycling systems).
Stourhead Mansion is just one of the 150 sites that have these water systems installed in the England.

I was eager to see this system in action as this was the technology I chose. I chose this because I work at Woodlands Golf Club and I was really interested to see have fully water recycle system.

Clear Water is a silent, below ground, biological wash down water treatment and recycling system.
The system is simple and does the job perfectly, without complicated computer pads and hundreds of knobs.

The system we visited today was a 5000L underground tank, with 2 hoses which serviced the grounds of Stourhead. The largest system is at a golf course that required 4 hoses and 10,000L underground tank.

The system is a concrete pad that runs into a drain then gravity feeds the water into a pit where any excess clippings, silt ect are collected. The water then travels into the underground tank where the micro-organisms go to work, the water is then stored and ready to be used through the hoses again.

To watch the system in action click on the link at the top of the page that says Clear Water. This will take you to their site where you can watch a you tube video on the system.
